Mediterranean Postcard
On one side, the Golden Islands; on the other, the salt flats. Nestled in the heart of the village of Giens, at the edge of the peninsula, Le Provençal Hotel looks like something out of a postcard.
Between island vibes and end-of-the-world serenity, pine trees, sea spray, starry skies, and the Mediterranean—it embodies a certain idea of paradise. Here, life feels like a dream, with emotions and happiness standing at attention.
Located in the heart of Port-Cros National Park and certified with the “Esprit Parc National” label, its 41 rooms and suites, 5 restaurants imagined by designer Rodolphe Parente, residence, tennis court, iconic seawater pool carved into the rock, and 2-hectare park welcome every form of pleasure.

75 Years of Epicureanism
Le Provençal began as a visionary dream of Marius Michel - a native son who left for Paris, rose to become head chef at the Lido in the 1950s, and returned home with a vision: to create a grand hotel in the spirit of the Riviera. For 75 years, it has embraced and celebrated the art of Epicurean living.
With the spontaneous charm of a family residence, a muse to artists, and a discreet address where celebrities and locals cheerfully mingle, the hotel has always been a vibrant place of life, celebration, and gastronomy.
Since 2012, Damien and Benjamin Piffet - together with their wives Julie Liger and Lene Arentsen - have been writing in the present tense the family story begun by their grandfather: a re-imagined Riviera tale, fiercely anchored in authenticity, elegance, and timelessness. Between enthusiastic hospitality and a journey beyond time, the four-star Le Provençal in Giens continues its legend, respectfully reinterpreted by interior architect Rodolphe Parente.
A family hotel with 1950s charm, a new wave of artists in residence, subtle echoes of the cabaret world, and a cuisine full of flair - Le Provençal offers a timeless escape, inviting you to savor the joy of the present moment.
